CHEF ZUBIR

Having graduated from ITM and received Diploma in Chef Training in 1988. From then onwards, Zubir has been in the hospitality industry for over 34 years and has served  international brands such Hyatt, Melia, Sheraton, JW Marriott, Hilton, Park Royal, Le Meridien and today as Managing Director/Chef Owner of 6 Asian/Western Grill restaurant under his flagship, Zubir is responsible for both the administrative and operational functions in the kitchen and restaurant. From his humble beginnings as a Commis Cook to a Demi Chef, Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef, Executive Chef and finally Chef Restaurateur, Zubir has done it all.

Experience

Zubir has extensive culinary stints with Culinary Institute of America, California, Melia Scott Hotel Singapore, Grand Sapporo Hotel Japan, Anton Mossimann Dining Club London, Imperial and Bristol Hotel Vienna Austria. Zubir also involved in TV cooking show as a Host for ‘Young Professional Chef’ RTM 2008, Host Akademi Rasa ‘BABAS’ 2009/10 TV9, Host/Jury for World Francise Masterchef Malaysia/Celebrity/All Star-Astro TV Reality Cooking show 2011/12/13/14 and produce his own TV cooking show-World Chef Battlefield-Champion of the Masters 2019
